PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

CR: NYU Tandon's summer program for Cryptocurrency introduces students to computer science, data analysis, mathematical techniques, and logic that drive the fields of decentralized systems and online currency. Lessons cover fundamental knowledge behind applied cryptography and block chains; smart contracts; decentralized finance; Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs); decentralized autonomous organizations; decentralized storage and other technologies that are becoming a part of our daily lives.

Cryptocurrency is created and supervised by Professor/Co-Director, NYU Center for Cybersecurity, Dr. Damon McCoy. This program is inspired by their research and the undergraduate and graduate courses they instruct.
