CS4CS: bridges theory and practice. You'll participate in Capture The Flag competitions, tackle hands-on security challenges, and conduct research projects. Learn from industry professionals and build a portfolio of real cybersecurity work.

Meet Our Mentors

CS4CS is created by Professor Nasir Memon, a computer scientist and cybersecurity expert at NYU's Center for Cyber Security. The program's curriculum is supervised by Nadesh Subramanian, a security engineer and researcher, whose curriculum redesign has transformed it into a hands-on, research-focused learning experience combining practical security challenges with academic mentorship.

NYU Center for Cybersecurity and DTCC partner to create comprehensive cybersecurity and resiliency program

New York, September 7, 2022 – The NYU Tandon School of Engineering, a global leader in engineering research and education, and The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry, today announced a new partnership to advance the capabilities of the NYU Center for Cybersecurity (CCS). The collaboration will leverage DTCC’s nearly five decades of technology, resiliency and cybersecurity expertise to support the new program.

Students can gain hands-on experiences by attending summer programs focused on technology.

As summer approaches, students should consider attending a summer program concentrated on technology, especially if their school curriculum doesn’t offer them much opportunity to explore the field.
