PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

XR: Designers employ a large variety of creative frameworks, tools, and methods to understand users, and then use their insights to develop websites, applications, and platforms to better the way people live. Students are exposed to principles and practices in UX (User Experience) and UI (User Interface), as well as related fields like visual design and design research. Using design methods and software tools like using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, students will create detailed and rich prototypes. Students interested in creative, or artistic applications of technology and computer science would really benefit from taking this course and be well prepared for undergraduate STEM majors.

Meet Our Mentors

The offerings in our Creative Technology track (UX, XR, GamePro) are designed by Profs. Ahmed Ansari and Scott Fitzgerald and graduate instructors, inspired by their work and the classes offered to undergraduate and graduate students in NYU Tandon's Integrated Design and Media program.
